Tuesday, Jan. 27^th, 2009:

We had the second meeting of the semester, which went even better than the first meeting.

1. Even more people came to our meeting. We had a large number of people during the meeting and we are extremely happy.
2. We opened it up by talking about the membership information. The summary of the membership information is:
   • To be a member, you will have to pay dues. $10 per semester or $15 per year.
   • Let us know if you are to miss any meeting. E-mail us at tsu.iclub@gmail.com. Having three unexcused absences will cause you to be marked as an inactive member.
   • More of the duties of the members are listed in our constitution. Please make sure you read them at least once.
3. Next, we had a game by Ismail Adiputra. It was one exciting game where some of the members were to guess everything up on the board and the others were to provide the hints them.
4. Information on International Idol were discussed even more. They are summarized into these two points:
   • Application for the Idol head is extened until Friday, Jan. 30^th. If you need the application, you can download it through the Document page. E-mail the completed application to tsu.iclub@gmail.com or submit it to one of the executives.
   • Application for the performance will be open starting Feb. 16^th.
5. After that, our Historian Luu Duong did a Member Focus. She introduced all of the executives to the member and she also included some fun activities in the introduction as well.
6. Logo challenge soon followed the Member Focus. We are creating a new logo for the International Club and we need everyone's participation. Submit your design to us. If you are doing it electronically, submit it through e-mail to tsu.iclub@gmail.com. If you are doing it on paper, just turn it in to any of the executives and we will try to create the electronic version of the design. The winner of the challenge will be awarded with a gift card.
7. Last, we talked about the International Fair, which is a brand-new event that the International Club is going to have. This is going to be a fundraising event where we will have booths and provide many different things and services. We will have cultural food/snacks, international souvenirs, etc. As of right now, this is still in the discussion stage. We will provide more information as soon as the details are worked out.
8. Before everyone went their own seperate ways, we decided to have our social by going to SAB's Indoor Ice Skating event. We will go there as a group and we will meet inside the SUB 2^nd floor at 7:00 pm. Hope to see everyone there.

Tuesday, Jan. 20^th, 2009:

We had the first meeting of the semester, and we are so happy that we had so many newcomers.

1. We kicked off the meeting by doing some introduction game, which was led by our Service Chair BooYoung Jang. We were paired up with other members and we were asked to introduce our partner.
2. Next, the President Rasyid Adiputra talked about the brochure that we handed out during the meeting. It contained information about the International Club, how to be a member, etc. We also introduced our website and our constitution. If you need one, you can download it from the Document page.
3. After that, we discussed about our biggest event that we are going to have this semester: International Idol. We introduced the event to those who did not know, and we also opened the application for the International Idol head.
4. Following that, we watched an International Club video about the past events created by the Social Chair Ismail Adiputra
5. Lastly, we had a trivia game, which was led by Ismail Adiputra. Before the meeting was ended, we announced the members about the hot chocolate and cookie social that we were having on the weekend.
