International Dinner: Travel the World of Festivals

International Club has officially presented the theme for one of the biggest cultural events held on Truman State’s campus. International Dinner is always a flurry of action, colors, and great food and this annual event takes months of preparation. With the carefully chosen team hard at work, they officially would like to announce the theme for this year’s event: Visiting countries all around the world and experiencing the culture in the most intimate way, through festivals. This theme was chosen after a committee member expressed how some of their best memories of their home country included the festivals and being surrounded by good people, delicious food, and lots of laughter. That is what the team hopes to encapsulate for the near 300 guests that are welcome to attend. International Club promises this to be an unforgettable night.

Without further ado, here is the International Dinner 2018 committee:

Food Heads: Lasitha Madurawala & Je Ni Koo

MCs: Evelyn Cooke & Manasa Chintakunta
